This green and white table is dramatic and festive with candy-cane-wrapped candleholders, white dinnerware, green glass bowls, and handmade napkin rings.
How to Create This Green and White Table
This table was put together almost entirely with green and white items. It has an extensive collection of curated items, from antique candle holders to modern placemats.
Choosing the Colors for this Green and White Table
The inspiration for this green and white table came from the green and white decorated Christmas tree. I enjoy using colored glass to add color to a table, so I used the green bowls, which were pretty against the white dinner plates.

Placemats for Green and White Table
I chose not to use a tablecloth for this table. Instead, I added green beaded placemats and placed them on the dark wood table to give this table a rustic vibe. You can find green beaded placemats here and here.
Napkins for Green and White Table
I used ivory-trimmed napkins with customized napkin rings. I made them from some old pinecone napkin rings by adding green and white sparkle balls and green velvet ribbons. I hot-glued the velvet ribbon loops and the ball stems to the existing rings. This created a custom look out of existing napkin rings perfect for this table. The dark pinecones accented the dark table and helped create a rustic and refined look. Click here to see pinecone napkin rings that can be enhanced to create a similar look.
Choosing the Dinnerware
I used ivory dinnerware (substitution here) for this table and added green bowls to each place setting.
These midcentury modern glass bowls were found on Etsy at Perfect Vintage Vintage Flea. Since I had a specific look in mind, I searched for green bowls until I found the perfect ones.
Choosing the Glassware
I used two glasses for this table: a white water glass and a champagne coupe. The white glasses added more white to the table, but clear glasses would have worked just as well.
Choosing the Candle Holders and Centerpiece
I used five white antique Chinese candle holders for the table centerpiece. The neck of each holder was wrapped (candy-cane style) with green velvet ribbon. Then, I added faux green pine needles around the base and shelf of the candle holders and placed white candles in each.
Ceramic Christmas pieces, green berries, white sparkly bells, green ornaments, and green mercury glass candle holders decorate the center of the table.
