Spice Up Your Appetizers: A Flavorful Twist on Traditional Sausage Balls

Traditional sausage balls can be updated with lots of different flavors. This recipe for pimento cheese sausage balls offers a twist on the traditional recipe, adding a spicy kick. I make these appetizers with jalapeno pimento cheese. Sometimes I pair jalapeno pimento cheese with spicy hot sausage for an extra kick. But if you are not a fan of spicy foods, use regular ground breakfast sausage and pimento cheese without peppers. The taste will still be delicious!

TIP: Make your own spicy pimento cheese by finely chopping pickled jalapenos and stirring them into pimento cheese.

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator. To reheat, wrap them in aluminum foil and warm them in the oven at 300°F for 15 minutes.
