Pink and Yellow Table: Fresh Spring Blossoms
Spring is the perfect time to embrace the vibrant colors of the season. This year, I decided to create a pink and yellow table setting inspired by the delicate and ephemeral beauty of cherry blossoms. With fresh blooms and cheerful accents, this table will create a joyful atmosphere for your family or guests. Hereβs how I brought this vision to life.

Setting the Scene: Choosing the Color Palette
For this table setting, I opted for a striking palette of pink and yellow that is perfect for spring gatherings. I selected various shades of pink and a vibrant yellow, ensuring a harmonious blend. A white tablecloth provides a fresh canvas, allowing the pink and yellow accents to shine.

Fresh Cherry Blossoms: The Main Attraction
The inspiration for my table came from our stunning Kwanzan cherry tree that blooms in spring. It has heavy, dense, pink flowers, and this particular year, the tree produced an outstanding display of ruffled blossoms that served as the centerpiece. Their delicate pink flowers added a touch of whimsy with pendulous arms and natural beauty. I arranged the blossoms in two tall, white vases to create a cohesive look, allowing their elegance to take center stage.

Yellow Chicks for a Pink and Yellow Table
Yellow contrasted nicely against the pink cherry blossoms, so I usedΒ yellow chicks with attached wires as napkin rings. I wrapped their wires around white napkins. Then I cutΒ pinkΒ andΒ yellowΒ satin ribbons, hot glued them crisscrossed together, and then glued them under the feet of the yellow chicks. The ribbons added extra color, tied the pink and yellow look together, and helped hide the white wires. You could further enhance the napkin rings by adding faux cherry blossoms and green leaves around the base of the chicks.
Chicks without attached wires are also a great option because you can hot glue them to rings (homemade, metal, or white elastic bands) to make napkin rings.

Choosing the Tableware: Mix and Match
For the tableware, I mixed and matched plates to create an inviting feel. I started with pink glass chargers, yellow gingham dinner plates (or use paper plates), and vintage pink banded salad plates. Gold flatware matched the gold band on the chargers and supported the “yellow” color accent. A mixture of blush water glasses and clear goblets with etched dots (for similar Kate Spade glassware click here) finished the place settings.

Accenting the Center of the Pink and Yellow Table
To complete the table’s look, I added white egg cups to the centerpiece and enhanced them with yellow paper grass and pink eggs. Then, I scattered white eggs in the center while the cherry stems sprinkled a few dropped blossoms.
