Rolo chocolate turtles are the ultimate indulgence for anyone craving a sweet and salty treat that’s both simple to make and utterly irresistible. With minimal prep time and a classic combination of flavors, you’ll find yourself reaching for these delicious bites time and time again.
Quick and Easy Rolo Chocolate Turtles
This sweet-and-salty treat, made with chocolate-caramel Rolos, pretzels, and pecans, is quick, easy, and delicious! With just 5 minutes of prep and 3 minutes in the oven, you’ll have a delicious snack ready to go. Plus, using parchment paper means cleanup is a breeze!

Simple Preparation
To start, gather your ingredients and preheat your oven to 250°F. Spread a sheet of parchment paper on your baking sheet to make cleanup easier later. Then, arrange pretzels neatly in rows on the baking sheet. The most time-consuming part of this process involves unwrapping the Rolos, but it’s well worth it. And you can grab a snack from the extras while you work!

Melting Rolo Chocolate Turtles
Once you place a Rolo on each pretzel, place the baking sheet into the oven. In just three minutes, the Rolos will soften, yet still hold their shape.

Add Pecans to Rolo Chocolate Turtles
Remove the pan from the oven and quickly press a whole pecan into the top of each Rolo. If some of the chocolates are not melted enough, simply return the baking sheet to the oven for an additional minute or two.

Finishing Touches
Next, once all the pecans are pressed down onto the melted Rolos, comes the hard part–allowing your treats to cool. For quicker cooling, let the baking sheet cool for a few minutes, then slide it into the refrigerator for about ten minutes. This will help set the chocolate and prevent it from sticking to the parchment paper or your fingers.

Perfect for Any Occasion
These chocolate turtles are not just for special occasions! They make fantastic treats for college care packages or as a simple snack when you want something sweet. They are also fantastic for game-day parties, showers, or potlucks, and can be dressed up by serving them on pretty pedestal cake plates.
