Marinate vs Marinade
These words, being only one letter different, can be confusing. Marinate is the verb form meaning to soak something, while marinade is the noun form meaning the liquid you soak something in.

Marinated Cheese With or Without Vinegar
You can marinate cheese with or without vinegar. However, this recipe is made without vinegar and relies on olive oil, spices, and herbs for flavor. Use good quality olive oil, making sure the oil covers all the cheese. Feel free to add other herbs or omit something you do not like from the recipe. It is versatile!

Three Easy Steps for Marinated Cheese
Marinated cheese is one of the easiest appetizers to make and is put together in 3 steps.

- Add enough marinade to cover all the cheese.
- Let marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
