I usually double this recipe because this dip goes fast! Perfect for a large gathering and especially for game day, this dip is very easy to make and might even taste better the second day!
I always wonder why this dip is so popular. Maybe because it is a quick no-fail recipe. Or maybe it’s because it has both hamburger and hot sausage that is smothered in cheese. It also has enough peppers and salsa to give it a spicy kick.
Whatever the reason for its popularity, it is just delicious. It keeps very well in the refrigerator, so you can make it the day before you plan to serve it and then reheat it or put it in a slow cooker on low and forget it. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
Make sure that you have a ton of tortilla chips on hand for dipping. Tortilla strips that are much thicker than regular chips are great for scooping without breaking easily.
The only drawback to serving this dip is that everyone is going to expect you to serve it at next year’s big game!
