A Father’s Day Brunch
Do fathers like decorated tables? You bet they do! It can be done very simply or with a theme. Either way, fathers aren’t opposed to a little fuss, but mostly they love having their loved ones gathered for a meal. This table is simple and I love these Vietri Pescatore salad plates. They are versatile and can be used with several colors and in different ways. They have a bit of gray, indigo, yellow, green, and aqua so they can look very different every time you use them if you change the napkin color, chargers, or the dinner plates.
When paired with lemonade in clear glasses, the yellow fishtails really pop.
I punched up the yellow a little more with mini bakers.
All the yellow is reminiscent of a sunny, summer fishing day.
Set a centerpiece with an old fishing basket, pale green greenery and a few fishing lures.
The lure hooks make it easy to place the fish in the greenery because the hooks secure them.
I used these hobnail glasses because they remind me of fish bubbles.
