This multi-purpose salted caramel sauce is unbelievably easy to make. It only takes a couple of minutes to cook.
It is a pourable sauce, which makes it great for dipping because you don’t get too much sauce on your fruit or whatever you are dipping.
I love to cut up fresh, firm apples that are just a little tart and dip them in lemon juice to make them a little more tart. The lemon juice also keeps them very fresh looking.
Place the tart apple chunks on skewers for dipping into the sweet and salty caramel dip.
This makes a great snack for tailgating or picnicking.
