Ricotta Cheese Pizza Dip transforms classic party fare into a creamy, crowd-pleasing appetizer. With layers of ricotta, zesty pizza sauce, and melty cheese, this dip quickly becomes the feature of any gathering.
Game Day Crowd Pleaser: Ricotta Cheese Pizza Dip
If you’re searching for a hit appetizer for your next game day, look no further than this reimagined pizza dip. By trading the usual cream cheese for creamy ricotta, this dip brings a lighter, more authentic Italian flavor to the table. Each bite features layers of perfectly seasoned ricotta, tangy pizza sauce, and a generous blanket of gooey mozzarella and parmesan—all baked to bubbling perfection. Best of all, it’s ready in minutes and tastes incredible straight from the oven.

Homemade Breadsticks: The Perfect Pairing
No pizza dip is complete without something delicious for dipping. Instead of the usual chips, this recipe serves up homemade breadsticks cut from ready-made pizza crust. A brush of olive oil and a sprinkle of Italian herbs transform the crust into golden, aromatic breadsticks. Buy a packaged crust or a refrigerated one that you roll out. And if you are in the mood for homemade crust, make your favorite recipe.

After baking, use a pizza cutting wheel to slice them into easy-to-grab strips—ideal for scooping up every last bit of cheesy dip.

Ricotta Cheese Pizza Dip: Toppings
Top your dip with mini pepperoni for easy dipping. If you love lots of pepperoni, go for regular-sized pieces. Or, skip the pepperoni altogether and add your favorite pizza toppings. This dip is so versatile that you can try different toppings every time you make it.

Serving and Storing Ricotta Cheese Pizza Dip
I love to pull this dip out of the oven and serve it immediately so the cheese is stretchy, gooey, and delicious. Store covered leftovers in the refrigerator. Reheat the dip by covering it with aluminum foil and baking it at 350°F for 10-15 minutes. For cold baking dishes, place them in the oven to preheat so they don’t break.
