Easy-to-make yummy pizza dip that can be doubled for a crowd.

Equipment

  • (1) 9-inch microwave-safe dish

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (Rao's or your favorite brand)
  • 1/2-3/4 cup whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 tablespoon red bell pepper, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 10-15 slices pepperoni (or use bacon, ham, or other favorite pizza toppings)
  • crackers, chips, breadsticks, or baked pizza crust for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Spread cream cheese onto the bottom of a 9-inch microwaveable pie plate or other dish.
  • Cover with pizza sauce and top with mozzarella, parmesan, bell pepper, Italian seasoning, and pepperoni.
  • Microwave on high for 2 minutes until heated through. Or, bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with crackers or baked pizza crust.

Notes

Vegetarian Dish

Leave off the pepperoni to make this a vegetarian dish.

Gluten-Free Dish

Use gluten-free crackers with this dip to make it a gluten-free dish.

Modifying the Recipe

This recipe doubles well to feed a larger crowd. You can add extra sauce and cheese if you like.
