- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup pizza sauce (Rao's or your favorite brand)
- 1/2-3/4 cup whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon green bell pepper, minced
- 1 tablespoon red bell pepper, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 10-15 slices pepperoni (or use bacon, ham, or other favorite pizza toppings)
- crackers, chips, breadsticks, or baked pizza crust for dipping
Spread cream cheese onto the bottom of a 9-inch microwaveable pie plate or other dish.
Cover with pizza sauce and top with mozzarella, parmesan, bell pepper, Italian seasoning, and pepperoni.
Microwave on high for 2 minutes until heated through. Or, bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until bubbly. Serve with crackers or baked pizza crust.
Vegetarian Dish
Leave off the pepperoni to make this a vegetarian dish.
Gluten-Free Dish
Use gluten-free crackers with this dip to make it a gluten-free dish.
Modifying the Recipe
This recipe doubles well to feed a larger crowd. You can add extra sauce and cheese if you like.
