12sheetschocolate graham crackers, broken in half to form a square(or use regular honey graham crackers or a mixture)
¾cupsalted butter
¾cupsugar
1cuppecans, coarsely chopped
½teaspoonvanilla
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300°F. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a large cookie sheet with sides.
Break the graham crackers in half and arrange the squares with their edges touching so they are flat.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the sugar and chopped pecans. Bring to a boil and cook for 4 minutes, stirring as it boils. Remove the syrup from the heat, stir in the vanilla, and spread evenly over the graham crackers.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool.
