4slicescheddar cheese, cut into small pieces(or use shredded cheddar cheese)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Brush the inside of the phyllo shells with melted butter. Add enough sour cherry jam to fill the shells almost to the top. Add slices of cheese to cover most of the jam. The cheese and jam should be about equal to balance the sweetness of the jam.
Place the shells on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bites are heated. Serve warm.
Notes
Doubling the Recipe
It is easy to double this recipe with an extra box of shells and additional slices of cheese. There will be enough jam from one jar to fill 30 shells.
