1poundstrawberries, washed and dried
Instructions
Beat the cream cheese with a mixer to break up any lumps.
Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt. Beat for 2-3 minutes on medium speed until creamy.
Add the lemon juice and beat until well mixed.
Pour the crust into the ready-made crust.
Remove the caps from the strawberries. Use a sharp knife to cut a V shape out of the top of the strawberries. Then stand the strawberries on their ends and cut them in half lengthwise. This will make a heart shape.
Place the strawberry hearts around the perimeter of the pie. Then place another ring of strawberries inside the first ring of strawberries. Continue until the pie top is filled with heart-shaped strawberries.
Chill for 4 hours to overnight. Serve chilled.
Notes
Size of Strawberries
Use similar-shaped strawberries if you have them. If not, place the largest strawberry hearts in the center of the pie in a circle. Then fill in with all the other strawberries.
