Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces lump crab
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup onion, minced
  • teaspoon white pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Place the crab meat in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Then, check for and remove any cartilage and shell from it. Set aside.
  • Place the cream cheese and mascarpone in a mixing bowl and stir until smooth and creamy. Alternatively, use a mixer if the cheeses are cold or stiff.
  • Stir in the onion, pepper, salt, Worcestershire, garlic, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, and mustard. Mix until well blended.
  • Gently fold in the crab meat until it is distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
  • Spray a baking dish with cooking spray or grease it with butter.
  • Place the crab dip in the baking dish, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and bake for 30-40 minutes or until the center is hot (165°F or 74°C).
  • Serve with pan-fried pita or bread slices.
