- 9 large hardboiled eggs, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
- 1/3-1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/16 - ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon white vinegar
- 1 or 2 green onions
Remove the yolks from the egg whites, keeping the whites intact. Set the whites aside for later. Put the yolks in a bowl for blending. Add 1/3 cup mayonnaise, salt, and vinegar.
Blend with the immersion blender until creamy and smooth. Add additional mayonnaise if the mixture is not as creamy as desired. (If you do not have an immersion blender, use a fork to mash the egg yolks and blend them until creamy.
Divide the yolk mixture and spoon it into the empty egg whites.
Cut the green onions into thin strips the size of the length of the eggs. Place a strip lengthwise on each deviled egg. Then cut small strips about 1/2 inch long. Place three strips onto each egg to represent football stitches.
Store the eggs in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
