Ingredients
  

  • 2-3 cups green leaf lettuce, torn (or mixed baby leaf greens)
  • ¼ Granny Smith apple, cubed (or your favorite apple)
  • 2 tablespoons Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, shredded or shaved
  • 1 handful walnuts
  • 1 handful cinnamon croutons (see notes for a link to the crouton recipe)
  • 1 tablespoon dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon red onion, cut into thin strips (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinaigrette dressing (see notes for a link to the dressing recipe)

Instructions
 

  • Place lettuce in a salad bowl and garnish with the other items.
  • Serve with Apple Cider Vinaigrette Salad Dressing.
  • To make a large salad to serve 8, use leaves from an entire stalk of green leaf lettuce. Serve buffet-style by putting the toppings in small bowls and letting each person make their salad.
