These super quick buffalo chicken sliders are perfect for your next game-day party! Made with rotisserie chicken and Hawaiian sweet rolls, they are sure to be a hit with your guests. And the best part is that they can be ready in about 35 minutes!
Use Rotisserie Chicken
For a shortcut, use rotisserie chicken on these sliders. You can get about 3 cups of shredded breast meat from an average size rotisserie chicken, but feel free to use a combination of white and dark. Be sure to remove the skin before shredding.
Tip: Rotisserie chicken is easier to remove and shred when warm.
Mix the Sauce
Melt the butter and mix all the sauce ingredients. Whisk, if needed, to create a smooth sauce. Then mix it with the shredded chicken to saturate it.
Cut the Rolls in Half
Flip the rolls upside down ( if needed) to help get them out of the carton. Then cut them horizontally to make a bottom and top. After cutting them, flip the rolls back over.

Ingredients
Sauce
- 3 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 6 tablespoons hot sauce (Frank’s Hot Sauce used)
- 3 tablespoons ranch salad dressing
Sliders
- 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- (1) 12-count package Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 2 packages pepper jack cheese slices (or a 16-ounce block of cheese, finely sliced)
Butter Topping
- 2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 1/16 teaspoon garlic salt
- ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
Sauce
- Melt the butter. Add the Buffalo sauce and ranch dressing and combine.
Sliders
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally to make a top and a bottom.
- Place 2 long sheets of aluminum foil on a baking sheet. You will need enough foil to completely wrap the sliders for baking. Place the rolls’ bottom half in the middle of the foil. Add a layer of pepper jack cheese to cover the bottom layer of bread.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken into a medium-sized bowl. Stir to mix. Add the chicken to the cheese layer, spreading it out evenly.
- Place another layer of pepper jack cheese on top of the chicken layer. Place the top half of the rolls on the sliders.
Butter Topping
- Melt the butter and add the onion powder, garlic salt, and Worcestershire. Whisk together. Use a brush to cover the entire top and sides of the sliders with the butter mixture. Drizzle any leftover butter on the sliders. Sprinkle the sliders with sesame seeds.
- Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
